Empowering vulnerable children and building stronger communities across Bugwere.
BQMF Health and Medical Mission Camps collaborate with medical missionaries worldwide to organize life-changing trips and host medical groups in the Bugwere Royal Kingdom. By bringing together volunteer physicians, nurses, dentists, and pre-med students, we deliver short-term medical treatment, health education, and essential care to hard-to-reach, under-resourced communities where healthcare is difficult to obtain.
Empowering Vulnerable Communities to Survive Emergencies and Build Thriving Futures! Poverty, conflict, disease, and disaster are global challenges that critically affect women, youth, and children. At BQMF, we don’t just help individuals survive emergencies—we empower them to build back better lives. Through innovative strategies in enterprise development, savings, and microcredit, our Financial Inclusion Program promotes economic opportunities for the most vulnerable communities, fostering job creation, reducing poverty, and transforming poor people's lives.
Building Sustainable Livelihoods & Nourishing Families Across Eastern Uganda The BQMF Food Basket Program goes beyond emergency food relief—we empower rural farming households to move from vulnerability to economic independence and self-reliance. By partnering directly with smallholder farmers, we promote viable agribusiness enterprises, climate-smart farming, post-harvest infrastructure, and direct market access to ensure lasting food security and sustainable family incomes across the Bugwere Royal Kingdom.
BQMF defines OVCs as children of 0-19 years of age who have lost a parent to, natural disaster, civil conflict or faced with extreme poverty and are in acute vulnerability, lost parents to HIV/AIDS who are otherwise directly affected by the disease, or who live in areas of high HIV prevalence and may be vulnerable to the disease or its socioeconomic effects.
“Ekisaagaati” literal meaning “an enclosure”, used to be a large homestead surrounded by a tall and big fence of well-trimmed reeds tied together with dry banana fiber, which made it impossible for one on the outside to see inside the fence even at a close angle.
