A personal message and call to action from H.R.H. Queen Sarah Harriet Wayabire, Queen Mother of Bugwere Royal Kingdom and Founder of the Bugwere Queen Mother Foundation (BQMF).
In this season, we find much reason to celebrate, even as we move forward boldly with the compassionate work of our Lord Jesus among the poorest and struggling communities.
BQMF was born out of a desire to help those in need of God’s compassionate hand to survive and grow. We started this long journey of responding to our communities’ greatest needs, and while much will change over time, our core mission remains steadfast: to tend, keep, and feed God’s people.
We focus especially on those affected by extreme poverty—children lacking access to better education and healthcare, young women caught up in early pregnancies and marriages, and people whose lives are at risk of HIV/AIDS.
BQMF programs are geared at delivering lasting impact through innovative initiatives that empower people—especially Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs)—to be agents of change within their communities. Beyond responding to immediate crises, our work stretches to building long-term improvements in people’s lives by cutting at poverty’s roots.
“Therefore, I would like to invite you personally to join me on this gracious journey to respond to the needs of our people. I take pleasure in praying for you: May the Lord of Hosts provide for you as you join me in this amazing work of the Lord.”
A testament to our foundational milestone achievements in community training, agricultural extension, education, and relief.

BQMF bases its ministry, operations, and community service on the following core Christian tenets:
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God revealing the love of God to the world.
1 Thess 2:13; 2 Tim 3:15-17; John 3:16We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Matt 28:19; John 10:30; Eph 4:4-6We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and personal return in power and glory.
Matt 1:23; John 1:1-4; Rom 8:34; Heb 1:1-4We believe Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. Repentance and faith result in regeneration by the Holy Spirit unto eternal life.
Luke 24:46-47; John 14:6; Acts 4:12We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a godly life.
John 3:5-8; Acts 1:8; Gal 5:16-18We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto eternal life and the lost unto eternal punishment.
1 Cor 15:51-57; Rev 20:11-15We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and that all true believers are members of His body, the Church.
1 Cor 12:12, 27; Eph 1:22-23We believe sharing salvation and helping followers grow up into maturity in Christ is a responsibility of all followers of Jesus Christ.
Matt 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; 1 Pet 3:15We believe God’s plan for human sexuality is expressed within monogamous marriage between one male and one female as the foundation of family.
Gen 2:24; Matt 19:5-6; Rom 1:26-27We believe that we must dedicate ourselves to prayer, service to our Lord, His authority over our lives, and the ministry of evangelism.
Matt 9:35-38; Rom 12:20-21; Col 2:6-10We believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end; and that we must have active concern for the physical and spiritual needs of our fellowmen.
Psalm 139:13; Jer 1:5; Matt 25:31-40; Gal 6:10Partner with BQMF to support child health, food security, education, and spiritual discipleship across Bugwere Royal Kingdom.
