Welcome to Amarin.ug ("Website"), operated by Joblu Technologies LTD ("Amarin", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our platform, services, and online purchase transactions.

By accessing Amarin.ug, creating an account, or purchasing any products—including our cultural fashion apparel, handmade artisan jewelry, or Kwara wooden furniture—you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this Website.

1. Agreement & Platform Use

By using this Website, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You agree to use the platform only for lawful e-commerce purposes and in compliance with the Electronic Transactions Act, 2011 of Uganda.

2. Handcrafted Nature & Unique Artisanship

Amarin takes pride in authentic East African artisanship. Because our products are handwoven, hand-tailored, and hand-carved by local artisans:

• Slight variations in color tone, bead placement, fabric pattern alignment, or natural wood grain patterns in Kwara furniture are intrinsic features of handmade artistry, not manufacturing defects.
• We make every effort to display product colors accurately on screen; however, actual colors may vary slightly due to monitor resolution or photographic lighting.

3. Pricing, Payments & Currency

All prices listed on Amarin.ug are displayed in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) by default and include applicable local taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise.

• We reserve the right to adjust product pricing, delivery charges, or promotional discounts at any time without prior notice.
• Payments are accepted via MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, Visa, Mastercard, and Pesapal/Flutterwave gateways. Orders will only be dispatched upon full confirmation of funds.

4. Orders & Custom Bespoke Crafting

Upon placing an order, you will receive an automated email or SMS receipt acknowledging your purchase. Order confirmation does not constitute a final binding acceptance until item availability and payment authorization are fully cleared.

• Bespoke / Custom Orders: Orders requiring custom apparel tailoring or custom Kwara wood dimensions require a 100% upfront payment prior to artisan production. Custom orders cannot be canceled or refunded once artisan production has commenced.

5. Shipping, Delivery & Inspection

We deliver within Kampala, upcountry Uganda, and internationally via DHL/FedEx. Delivery timelines provided on the site are estimates and may be influenced by weather, regional transit factors, or customs clearance.

• Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery to your specified physical address or showroom pickup.
• You are required to inspect package contents upon arrival. Any visible transit damage or missing items must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

6. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Our return and exchange policy lasts 7 days from the date of physical receipt.

• To be eligible for a return or store credit, items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned in their original packaging with all brand tags attached.
• Non-Returnable Items: Custom-tailored outfits, intimate waist beads, and clearance sale items are non-refundable.
• Return logistics costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a verified brand error or defective product.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on Amarin.ug—including product photography, logos, page designs, text, brand copy, graphics, and custom CSS/JS components—is the intellectual property of Amarin.ug and Joblu Technologies LTD. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or exploit any site content without explicit written consent.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any legal dispute arising from your use of this Website or purchase of products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda in Kampala.
